. To summarize: Abraham was a Hebrew. The descendants of
Jacob were Israelites consisting of the twelve tribes. Judah was
nicknamed “Jew” so that only Judah’s descendants were called

So Moses was not a Jew because he was not descended
from Judah but a Levite.
Moses was given the Torah (Law),
which was given for the Jews. (The children of Israel.)
